NOTICE: PEER REVIEWERS NEEDED FOR 2004 PAIMI APPLICATIONS
SAMHSA/CMHS are instituting a new process to review applications for the
PAIMI Grants to the States' Protection and Advocacy Systems. Peer
reviewers will be selected to participate in a five-day session, at which
they will receive training, will review applications, and submit their
findings.
Reviewers are being solicited for the 2004 PAIMI Applications for the
PAIMI Grants to the States'Protection and Advocacy Systems. Reviewers may
include PAIMI Executive Directors, PAIMI staff, PAIMI contract staff,
PAIMI Governing Board Members, PAIMI Advisory Council Members, consumers
and family members.
The review process will be scheduled for one week in the Fall and will be
held in Washington, D.C. Selected reviewers will be trained on the review
procedures, will review several applications, and will compile summary
reports of their findings. Reviewers will receive a daily honorarium and
will be reimbursed for per diem and travel expenses.
If interested, please complete the attached 2004 PAIMI Reviewer
Application Form, and submit it with an attached resume to the address or
FAX below. Completed applications must be received by September 1, 2003.
