The First Ohio Chapter of the Federation of Families is a local support group for parents, family members, foster parents, and caregivers of children with mental, physical, emotional, behavioral or social problems. Meetings areheld once a month and feature a variety of professionals addressing pertinent topics such as: parenting your adolescent, child adolescent discipline, anger management, medication management, childhood depression, practical parenting, community resources, grief and loss issues, mental illness and learning, among others. The chapter's mission is to assist all individuals who care for these children through organized meetings, support, information sharing and helpful outreach.
