This SAMHSA DBHIS installment focuses on the reactions and mental health needs of children and youth after a disaster, and contains resources from both the child trauma and disaster behavioral health fields.
It is organized into four categories: 1) Books, 2) Activities, 3) Tips and Guides, and 4) Assessment Tools. View the collection's annotated bibliography, which contains links to each resource; and helpful links, which provides links to organizations, agencies, and other resources that address children and youth issues. Resources address various audiences, including the following:
- Children and youthDisaster-related coloring and activity books that help children and youth understand disasters, foster resilience, and encourage the expression of feelings related to disasters
