Depression and Related Affective Disorders Association (DRADA). Works with the Department of Psychiatry at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Contains scientific papers, updates on research, and presentations given at DRADA conferences.

Depressed Anonymous. 12 step program of recovery for persons with depression.

Dr. Ivan's Depression Central. Central clearinghouse for depressive disorders and treatments for major depression, manic-depression (bipolar disorder), cyclothymia, dysthymia, and other mood disorders.

Depression After Delivery. Information about postpartum mood and anxiety disorders; Links to related resources.

The DMDA of Mount Sinai Medical Center. Support group for persons with mood disorders, depression, and bipolar disorder, and their family members and friends.

GriefNet. GriefNet is an Internet community of persons dealing with grief, death, and major loss.

InteliHealth (Mental Health Basics). InteliHealth is a group of creative, energetic, quality-driven people who are passionate about their mission to promote good health. They accomplish this goal by providing credible information and useful tools from the most trusted sources, including Harvard Medical School and University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.

Mood Sciences. Mood Sciences features a self-report screening and monitoring system for major depression that was developed in consultation with an eminent board of scientific advisors and validated under an NIMH grant.

Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) (formerly the National Depressive and Manic-Depressive Association). Educates patients, families, professionals, and the public on the nature of depressive and manic-depressive illness; fosters self-help for patients and families; works to eliminate discrimination and stigma and improve access to care; and advocates for research to eliminate these illnesses.

National Mental Health Association. Dedicated to improving the mental health of all individuals and achieving victory over mental illnesses.

Psychology Information Online. Explains depression and treatment options, includes a national directory of psychologists, and links to sites about other disorders.
