National Center for Injury Prevention and Control
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) began studying home and recreational injuries in the early 1970s and violence prevention in 1983. From these early activities grew a national program to reduce injury, disability, death, and costs associated with injuries outside the workplace - NCIPC.

An informational site to help others learn how to help children, be better parents, and be advocates for children's causes.

Family Violence Prevention Fund
The Family Violence Prevention Fund (FVPF) works to end domestic violence and help women and children whose lives are devastated by abuse. FVPF programs and policies have won many awards through the years and have been replicated around the world.

Violence Against Women
The National Women's Health Information Center created the Violence Against Women web page to provide abused women and their loved ones with resources and information they can use to get help. Violence Against Women Office
The Violence Against Women Office of the Office of Justice Programs, United States Department of Justice was created in 1995 to implement the 1994 Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) and to lead the national effort to stop domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking of women.
