    National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI)
    NCADI is the Federal government's primary resource for information about substance abuse prevention and addiction treatment. The web site provides access to publications, quick facts on a wide range of topics, and Web casts and Web chats. Includes resources and materials for families, youth, schools, businesses, and communities.

    National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA)
    NIAAA leads the Nation's effort to conduct and support research to reduce alcohol-related problems. The web site provides access to publications, clinical trials, databases, news releases, research opportunities, conferences and events, answers to frequently asked questions, scientific articles, and related resources and referral information.

    Leadership to Keep Children Alcohol Free
    Leadership to Keep Children Alcohol Free is a coalition of Governors' spouses, Federal government agencies, and public and private organizations engaged in a national effort to prevent alcohol use by children ages 9 to 15. The web site provides statistics, research news, prevention resources, an events calendar, strategies to prevent underage drinking, State legislation, and information about coalition activities.

    Children of Alcoholics Foundation (COAF)
    COAF provides help and hope for children of all ages from alcoholic and substance abusing families. The web site includes basic information about alcohol, drugs, and addictions, and includes special sections for children, teens, adults, parents in recovery, and relatives and other caregivers.

    Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD)
    SADD (formerly known as Students Against Driving Drunk) is a peer leadership organization that works to prevent behaviors that are harmful to young people, including underage drinking, other drug use, driving while under the influence, teen violence, and teen depression and suicide. The web site provides findings of national studies, legislative updates, current youth campaigns, upcoming conferences and events, news updates, and information about starting a SADD chapter.

    National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD)
    NCADD is a voluntary organization that works to promote prevention, intervention, research, and treatment of drug and alcohol dependence. The web site provides resources for consumers, students, and media representatives looking for objective information, including statistics, interviews with medical and scientific experts, and recommendations from leading health authorities about drinking.
