    Caring for Every Child's Mental Health Campaign
    This national public information and education initiative increases public awareness about the importance of protecting and nurturing the mental health of young people; fosters recognition that many children have mental health problems that are real, painful, and sometimes severe; and encourages caregivers to seek early, appropriate treatment and services.

    Depression and Suicide in Children and Adolescents
    This chapter from the U.S. Surgeon General's Report on Mental Health discusses the theories and risk factors associated with depression in children and adolescents. It also describes other related mental health conditions, as well as causes and treatment strategies.
