    The National Schizophrenia Foundation (NSF)
    NSF develops and maintains support groups for individuals and their friends and family members affected by schizophrenia and related disorders and carries out education, information, and public awareness services for all persons affected by these mental disorders. The web site offers information on resources for those affected by schizophrenia, including newsletters, presentations, videos, and lists of reading materials.

    World Fellowship for Schizophrenia and Allied Disorders (WFS)
    WFS engages in international educational efforts to increase understanding and compassion and reduce the fear, stigma, discrimination, and abuse that accompany schizophrenia and allied disorders. The web site provides fact sheets, other educational materials, and personal stories about schizophrenia and related disorders.

    National Alliance for Research on Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD)
    NARSAD raises and distributes funds for scientific research and offers information on the causes, cures and treatments, and prevention of severe mental illnesses, primarily schizophrenia and depression. The web site provides information about current research on schizophrenia and other mental illnesses, educational materials, and research funding opportunities.

    North American Society for Childhood Onset Schizophrenia
    The Society, a non-profit, Internet-based group formed to provide a Web site devoted solely to childhood onset schizophrenia (COS), addresses the unique needs of COS patients and their families and caregivers. The web site has facts and other resources for families and an area for families affected by COS to locate, contact, and share experiences with other COS families.
