    The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)
    NIMH is the lead Federal government agency for research on mental and behavioral disorders and a source of detailed information about the origins, symptoms, and treatment options for a wide variety of mental illnesses.

    SAMHSA’s Resource Center to Address Discrimination and Stigma (ADS Center)
    The ADS Center provides practical assistance in designing and implementing anti-stigma and anti-discrimination initiatives by gathering information about best practices, policies, research, and programs to counter stigma and discrimination and actively disseminating this information to individuals, States, local communities, and public and private organizations.

    The Mayo Clinic
    The Mayo Clinic is a leading private medical institution that offers public health education tools, including a mental health center that provides information about mental health awareness campaigns, mental illness treatments, and mental health self-care.

    The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
    NAMI is a nationwide advocacy group that assists mental health consumers and their families in obtaining mental health services. NAMI maintains a group counseling network in each State to provide services to individuals on a wide range of mental health-related topics.

    National Mental Health Association (NMHA)
    NMHA is a national advocacy group that maintains a referral and information center to assist mental health consumers locates treatment services in their area and also engages in national and State level advocacy for consumers.
