    This online guide provides a step-by-step action plan that victims of domestic violence can follow to get out of a dangerous situation safely. It includes tips on how to plan a safe exit, how to keep children safe, whom to contact, and what important telephone numbers to keep handy.

    Toolkit to End Violence Against Women
    This toolkit, developed by the National Advisory Council on Violence Against Women, is designed to assist individuals, policy leaders, and communities in ending violence against women. Each toolkit chapter focuses on a particular audience or environment and includes recommendations for strengthening prevention efforts and improving services and advocacy for victims.

    Costs of Intimate Partner Violence in the United States
    This report of the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC), CDC, summarizes a study NCIPC conducted to obtain national estimates of the occurrence of intimate partner violence-related injuries. The report estimates the costs to the health care system and recommends strategies to prevent intimate partner violence and its consequences.

    Children and Domestic Violence: Making Prevention the Priority
