2b. Recruit traditional and spiritual healers and Native American mental health professionals to play key roles at the next conference.
2c. Invite more Native American consumers to attend the next conference, to be on the planning committee and to be speakers at all levels.
2d. Financially support consumers and family members to attend the conference.
2e. Invite consumer/advocacy groups to set up booths with information on serious mental illness and substance abuse.
3.   Especially given that half of all Native Americans are under the age of 18, too little attention has been paid to children/youth issues related to serious mental illness. 3a. Include children/youth issues related to mental illness in the second conference.
