White non-Hispanic women (12.7 percent) were most likely to experience MDE, and Black non-Hispanic men (4.6 percent) were least likely to experience MDE. Mexican American women (9.6 percent) were most likely to experience dysthymia, and White non-Hispanic men (4.1 percent) were least likely to experience dysthymia.
