Addressing Discrimination and Stigma Resource Center

Coming soon - the web site is now being developed.

The goal of the ADS Center is to help mental health consumers, family members, advocates, managed care organizations, providers, local communities, and states design, implement and operate programs and campaigns to reduce stigma and the discrimination and prejudice it engenders.

The ADS Center employs a bilingual (English/Spanish) Information Specialist who can now be reached at 1-800-540-0320 Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (ET).

The ADS Center provides specific resources and information about evidence-based approaches for people or organizations interested in combating discrimination and stigma. The ADS Center also offers information about available publications, events, and issues of relevance regarding discrimination and stigma associated with mental illnesses
