American Council for Drug Education
The American Council for Drug Education is a substance abuse prevention and education agency that develops programs and materials based on the most current scientific research on drug use and its impact on society.

Blueprints for Violence Prevention
In 1996, the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV), at the University of Colorado at Boulder, with funding from the Colorado Division of Criminal Justice, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency, designed and launched a national violence prevention initiative to identify violence prevention programs that are effective.

CDC: Divisions of HIV/AIDS Prevention

CDC's HIV mission is to prevent HIV infection and reduce the incidence of HIV-related illness and death, in collaboration with community, State, National, and international partners. Center for Substance Abuse Prevention

The Center for Substance Abuse Prevention provides national leadership in the development of policies, programs, and services to prevent the onset of illegal drug use, to prevent underage alcohol and tobacco use, and to reduce the negative consequences of using substances. CSAP is one of 3 Centers within the the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
